The MIE Cavendish V Anaesthetic machine
Launched in 1973 the Cavendish V was a departure from the traditional Anaesthetic machine shape from MIE. It was the first MIE machine to be fitted with a ventilator. a version of the famous Manley ventlilator which, was developed by MIE and Dr Roger Manley. The Cavendish V was designed to be easily dissassembled for export with the legs and base unscrewed and stowed flat to save space. A lower spec model without the ventilator was available and named the Cavendish IV
